Learning Yoga in Bangalore

Looking at today's desk-bound work routine it has become essential that the body is given some kind of physical exertion in the form of exercise and yoga, to avoid impending health problems. Yoga is a buzzword among young urban professionals, models, teens and senior citizens alike because yoga can be sequenced and tailored according to the age group and the person' particular needs. It is a gentle yet effective way to keep the mind and body in harmony and synchronization. It involves restoring the natural balance through asanas (yoga postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises).

Different aims for learning yoga

In the Mahabharata, the goal of yoga is variously described as entering the world of Brahma, as Brahman, or as perceiving the Brahman or Atman that pervades all things.

Bhakti

The bhakti schools of Vaishnavism point that bhakti or service to the Lord in itself may be the ultimate goal of the yoga process, where the goal is to enjoy an eternal relationship with Vishnu.

Fitness

In recent days, people have become materialistic, sparing very little time for bodily rejuvenation. Yet, the trend is changing and people are showing more interest in keeping fit. Yoga has paved the way for the same. Leaving out the atman and Brahman concept and taking only physical fitness concept, yoga has proven to be an effective means of keeping fit. Yoga, if learnt properly under professional guidance, can cure or keep certain ailments at bay. The person could survive the ailment without medications, even.
