Shivang Kapadia

I was a drum faculty at Soundmonk school of music (Bombay) for one year (Sept 2016-Sept 2017). My role included devising a syllabus from beginner to advanced levels. I was instrumental in integrating different teaching methods depending on students' needs and interests. Moreover, I trained students for various exams, recitals and ensembles too.

As a live drummer, I have more than 7 years of experience. I got the opportunity to tour nationally and internationally as a live drummer for 2 years with notable musicians of the likes of Harshdeep Kaur, Arjun Kanungo, Aditya Pushkarna, Clinton Cerejo, Shaan, Vidya Vox and many others. I had the privilege to work as a studio drummer for 2 independent EPs and around 40 singles commercially. I was also the drummer for the legendary composer A.R. Rahman for a web series called ARRived which was aired on YouTube, and the TV show, The Voice (Season 2).I had the privilege of performing at the prestigious Eventim Apollo Theatre in London, United Kingdom in 2017 with Arjun Kanungo.
