IdentityI started my journey at the age of 8. The call of rhythm and a strong backing from my Family saw me placed under the able guidance of Sri Nagaraj Rao Gaikwad, a very inspiring and knowledgeable Tabla Teacher in Bangalore.
A young and dynamic musician, I was quick to enter the Concert Arena and have received critical acclaim for my performances in India and Abroad.
My artistry lies in the capability to accompany Hindustani Vocal and Instrumental Music with equal ease, at the same time feeling very much at home in presenting the truly traditional Tabla Solo format. My forte also lies in blending my style with the dynamism of Fusion and World Music, and the complicated Mathematics of Carnatic Music
