How much fee can I charge for 6th class Maths subject, if student comes to my home for tuitions?

This varies so much, we do not have any consistent amount for that. But I feel it should be minimum Rs 250 per hour.

Is it possible to score good marks in first year without joining tuitions and only by reading NCERT textbooks?

Yes of course. Self study is always good, but you need proper focus and direction. Use some other reference book and seek help from your teacher whenever there is any doubt. And last not the least devote some fixed time and try to complete your work within some specific time limit which will help you... ...more

Speed is distance per unit time and velocity is also distance per unit time. What the is the difference between the two ?

Yes both of them carry the same unit but speed is scalar and velocity is vector, which makes them different.

There is three papers for each science subjects namely MCq, Structured and practical or alternative to practical. Emphasis is given on application of the subjects learned

Follow NCERT book and solve all the numerical so. As a reference book you can use HC Verma and Resnic Haliday. For videos go for Khan academy
