IdentityI am Amritha Venkatraman disciple of Guru Sri. J Suryanarayana Murthy and Mrs. Rama Suryanarayana Murthy, has been practicing Bharatanatyam for the past 18 years and has performed over 300 concerts with my ensemble in cities like Tanjore, Vellore, Tirupathi, Chennai, Delhi, Kerala, Kolkata and many more. I have secured distinction in Bharatanatyam grade exam at Annamalai University (Tamil Nadu).
I have been teaching dance for the past 7 years and have trained more than 100 students. I work as a freelancer for several dance organizations in Bangalore and Chennai to share my expertise of the arts.
I am the founder of Shwastik Arts Academy in Bangalore and in addition I teach Bharatanatyam Online to clients in different parts of the world. My academy aims to develop art through dance form for all ages and learning the art with mindfulness. Privilege given to special kids as well to learn this art form.
I have been Awarded the titles "NATYAYUVAMI" " BHARATANATYA NARTHAKI" and "NRYTHYA UPASHAK" in Bharatanatyam.
