Learning Assamese can help you survive in any NE states and will be good if you are planning to visit any NE state or moving there for work. Also Assamese is close to Bengali and Oriya, So you can get to understand many more languages of our country. Assamese is one of the listed language of India and official language of Assam. Assam is on the rise these days as many tourist destinations have been added and is seeing increased footfalls with Kaziranga being UNESCO world heritage.
