Hi, I am very much interested in Bollywood Playback Singing. I would like to know, is it necessary to learn Indian classical music before learning Bollywood?

Yes, you should learn INDIAN classical music at first. I am a Hindustani Classical music teacher and also a playback singer and ALL INDIA RADIO artist. At first, I have learned INDIAN classical music, then commercial music.
