Dario began playing in December 1998. In 2005 he won the award for Best guitarist of Sud Italy in the "Tour Music Fest. He has participated in masterclasses by artists such as: Steve Vai, Andy Timmons, Paul Gilbert, Robben Ford, Tommy Emmanuel, Virgil Donati and Ciro Manna to perfect his techniques. In 2007, he moved to Rome and trained to be a Rock/Blues guitar teacher at the "Rock /Blues Music School". In 2009 he founded his band, "Dario La Magna Band" and works with two projects: unreleased tracks of his albums and an Andy Timmons Cover Band, who found success on the international scene, piquing the interest of Andy Timmons himself and his musicians. Since 2009, he has collaborated with the magazine "Music Magazine Italia". In 2010 he ranked the second most clicked artist on Reverb Nation in the Rock/Blues category and won the "Music Emotions" 2012, 2013 and 2016 editions. In April 2011 he attended the school "Centrostudimusica" at the Master Salvatore Russo, to specialize in Jazz and in December 2011, he released his first album titled "Surrounded" featuring Salvatore Russo, and distributed by “Videoradio Edizioni Musicali”. He was also reviewed in Italian magazines such as: “Music Magazine Italia”, “Jam”, “Chitarre” and “Guitar Club”. Dario also opened shows for artists such as: Andy Timmons, Paul Gilbert, Virgil Donati, Andrea Braido, Ciro Manna, and Maurizio Vercon. ?In 2015 he founded his new band with John Macaluso and Antonio Cascarano. In 2017 he and Peppe Scarciglia founded "Guitars Night". In 2018 he moved to Milan, Germany, Switzerland, England and France. In 2019, Dario moved to Bangalore, India to collaborate with Indian artists and teach at schools. He is an endorser of brands such as: Jefferson Instruments USA, Xotic USA, Wampler Pedals, Roger Mayer, Real Mccoy Custom, Mama Pickups, Essetipicks and TCase Lab.
