Passionate and experienced musician with over 12 years of on-stage performance experience with several musicians and bands. I am also adept in composing and arranging music. With my Grade 8 certification from Rockschool UK, I have a clear grip on theoretical and practical musical concepts. I have been teaching and designing curriculum for more than 8 years now and in my classes I bring forth my motivated attitude and unparalleled love for music.

My students experience fun and joy while learning music because of the uniqueness in my teaching methodology, the base of which is actually learning to transmute emotions into their playing.

• Teaching Methodology via Lesson Plans: Course curriculum and lesson wise class notes provided in PDF format. Also, below is the road map executed for a 1 hour class:

i) Warm Up - 10 minutes
ii) Technical Exercises - 15 minutes
iii) Sight Reading - 10 minutes
iv) Improvisation - 15 minutes
v) Ear Test - 5 minutes
vi) Pieces - 5 minutes

• Students’ Feedback : Students get hooked to my teaching methodology as I am proficient in developing curriculum, introducing instruments, evaluating them in their learning and showing them how fun music can be with ensemble coaching.

My students always experience fun and joy while learing to play the bass guitar because of the uniqueness in my teaching methodology, the base of which is actually learning to transmute emotions into their playing. This will be a step by step method to learn music theory followed up by the respective practical classes and frequent doses of bass riffs and songs to balance the boredom. "Before engaging Debashis for Bass classes, I had been in touch with few other tutors listed on online platforms. While as a novice learner I shouldn’t judge anyone on their individual capacity, I am quite happy that I chose Debashis, as a current pupil.
