IdentityI have taught over 40 students for thousands of hours. My approach is rather non-traditional; I tailor my approach to every student, and have more of a socratic dialouge (where students learn by asking questions, and trying to tackle them via sound principles) rather than a lecture based approach (where the answers are fed to the students).
My students have done quite well. My SAT students report an average score increase of 140+ points in the math section; Most of them go from the 560-620 score band to 740+ score band. Almost all of my students got a 5/5 on their AP tests, some of them got a 4/5. My AMC students also have a significant improvement, often doubling their initial scores.
