The guitar is a western instrument, and in western genre only. I hope you have begun and learnt basics, but the scale system and swara very much exist as same as harmonium so you can switch to Hindustani style. Hindustani and Carnatic is Indian music genre's which has a distinct form of presenting swaras and the intervals in singing as well as in instrument.
