NatyaVidhusi Smt. Rashmi Thaper, nee Krishna, is a devout learner of bharatanatyam since she was 6yr old. Rashmi has meritoriously graduated in Bharatanatyam vidwth examination conducted by govt.of Karnataka .Her Arangetram in 2002 at Navaranagpraveshotsava, jointly organized by Dept of Kannada & culture & Vivekananda kala Kendra won wide acclaim from art lovers

Rashmi has peformed extensively both as solo dancer and in group presentations. She has collaborated with various dance companies. Some of them are the dance productions choreographed by “ Shantala “ awardee guru Sri.RadhaKrishna & his wife late Smt.Meenakshi , The Ramana kala Kendra of Sri Ramana Maharshi Center for learning ,production being choreographed by Sharada Natarajan & Smt.Ambika Kameshwar(RASA, Chennai), Smt padma Haemanth(Sangeetha Bharathi), Smt.Poorna Suresh( Academy of Performing Arts).

Recipient of scholarships Rashmi enhanced her knowledge by attending various seminars and workshops.
