"Sangeet Sadhana is a music institute that stands truly and surely to promote the heritage of Indian classical music. Here, music is taught with ample emphasis on fundamentals, in an environment that prompts the students to pursue continuous improvement. Students are assisted individually to shed their inhibitions and challenge their own self in their musical journey. With creative courseware design, and a combination of innovative methods like musical events, student projects, Rewards and recognition schemes, a sense of healthy competition is maintained, which encourages the students to stay focussed and run the extra mile. Given the fast pace era that we live in, characterized by paucity of time for even the most important tasks in our lives, such methods adopted by the school help the students by urging them to invest ample attention to riyaaz, and pursuit of excellence. I completed 6 months with Sangeet Sadhana, and I am happy that I chose this institute for my initiation in to this noble art form. With a bit of intent, I have managed to get into the flow and cope with the course demands, in spite of demanding work schedules. Every serious pursuer of music has to realize the importance of making their own personal adjustments if they were to derive maximum benefit from the expertise and intent shown by the able gurus at the institute. "

Singing Classes

"I joined Sangeet Sadhana on May 16th,2015 as a naive, someone who had always yearned to learn singing but never got a chance to experience classroom based learning of music. I remember when Reetesh sir asked me if I wanted to join the basics batch or I already had some knowledge of Indian Classical music on my first day,and I almost shouted , "Basics, sir". Yes, that was because I expected to learn it that way, understanding the swaras, knowing the theory and everything which can help me move into learning of things gradually and effectively. And that was how it happened. We were moved to Anindita ma'am's batch after we had the pre-requisite knowledge to absorb what was coming up in the days which followed. Sangeet Sadhana is a place from where you walk out with a sense of content of new learnings after each class. Needless to say, I wait for the weekends and I walk to the class with an excitement of a kid every time :) Sir and ma'am helped in every possible way to get our exams done well. I remember sir sending me the recordings late night when I asked out for help a day before the exam. The varshik mahotsava organised by the institute was an event which I will always cherish. Performing on the stage after 3 long years was nothing less than an incredible feeling for me, can't thank this institute enough for providing me such an opportunity. I strongly recommend this institute to people who are willing to learn this art form. "

"Sangeet Sadhana is my first music school and might be the last one for me. I joined Sangeet Sadhana on January in 2015,just one year back.My voice was not so good for singing and I even did not know what is Saptak in Hindustani Classical Music.During this tenure I have learnt so many Raagas and knew about few famous singers in music industry.My voice has become more addictive for singing now. If I consider about the concert which is going to happen on January in 2016,it made me more busy to practice for longer time at a stretch. So what ever faith I have in me while my voice will reach to the billions of music lovers through out the whole universe,if they ask me where I have learnt music ,I will just convey it is Sangeet Sadhana Bangalore,India. I want to specially thank Ms Anindita Mukherjee Madam,Mr Reetesh Naik Sir and rest Sangeet Sadhana Team members for giving me the opportunity to learn and keeping me busy for singing. "Coming from a musical family, I always had the desire to learn Hindustani classical music, but somehow, studies and then career took me away from music. I still kept looking for a good teacher, but mostly got disappointed, sometimes,the music school seemed too commercial or sometimes it was too fast paced for my understanding.Then I discovered Sangeet Sadhna and it changed my life. Anindita Mam and Reetesh Sir are true example of an excellent teacher.Their own passion for music is not only inspiring but addictive too :). "I joined the classes for Hindustani classical vocals about a month back and experienced a lot of improvement in my singing and knowledge about music. Ma'am and sir are very helpful and encourage people to learn the fundamentals of classical music. Personal attention is provided to each and every student. I fell in love with the place and the people at Sangeet Sadhana, the first day itself.
