IdentityDr. Shahul founded Wisecorner Laboratories in 2018 with the vision to provide solutions and services in the areas of Bioinformatics, Molecular Biology, Drug design, Molecular dynamics simulations, Gene editing, Gene therapy and novel delivery systems. Currently he is involved in development of novel CRISPR based therapy for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and CAR T-cell therapy. He is also involved in development of computational platform for design of mRNA based therapeutics and Vaccines.
He has done his PhD in Molecular biophysics from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and underwent postdoctoral training at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research. He has worked as a biotech faculty at top private institutions in Tamilnadu. He has Qualified competitive exams like GATE, CSIR, ICMR JRF. He has published in international journals. He is an invited speaker / resource person for bioinformatics and CRISPR gene therapy by several top universities including University of Nottingham, UK
