This is a typical case with most of the B.E and MCA graduates. They are technically strong in their subjects but are not able to get a job in the IT field. If they analyse the reason for this, they will find that the main drawback with them is their poor communication skills. In the IT field, since the customers for most of these companies are foreign MNC's, effective communication skills ( not even ordinary communication skills) is a basic requirement for selection in the first place. Even if one is slightly deficient in Technical Skills, these IT companies are willing to recruit them and upgrade their skills by giving them training after selection but if one is deficient in communication skills, then they outright reject them at the initial interview itself. Those who realise this and take training to improve their communication skills, soon get success in their interviews with IT companies. I have seen such encouraging results in hundreds of my students. So advise your brother to take training in Communication Skills and Interview Skills first. read less

Hi Zahid, its good to hear as u r taking Pharmacy. It will be too good if it's from your own interest. About Placements, it depends upon you how confidence you are in your sector, actually not the degree is the only criteria.
