Bharathanatyam Experience:
• Basic adavu training from Sri Gopalakrishnan, a student of Kalakshetra Foundation for 5 years.
• Re-started from the basics with Smt. Radhika Kalyani (disciple of Smt. KJ Sarasa and Smt. Chitra Vishweshwaran) and have pursued the Vazhuvoor bani for the past 21 years.
• Completed Masters in Fine Arts in Bharathanatyam from SASTRA University, Tanjore in the year 2022.
• Certified Dhoordharahan B grade artiste.
• Performed my arangetram in 2009.
• Performed solo kutcheris in sabhas like Karthik fine arts, Ganamukundapriya, Bharath Kalachar, Parthasarathyswamy Sabha.
• Performed group productions with various dance schools in Chennai in Karthik fine arts, Brahms Gana Sabha, Krishna gana Sabha, Ganamukundapriya, Parthasarathyswamy Sabha,etc.
• Performed multiple shows for Vijay Tv (Kanchi Mahan, Margazhi Vaibhavam, Chandralekha to Chandralekha, etc.)
• Also perform regularly in Jaya TV and Mega TV.
• Regular performances in Iyal Isai Nadaga Mandram conducted by Smt. Sachu and Sri. Deva
• Been part of numerous dance productions conducted by my school and a few other schools in Chennai.
• Performed a dance recital for Hillary Clinton during her visit to Chennai.
• Performed a show for a Telgu local channel on Sai Baba
• Performed at the Chidhmbaram festival during Shiva Raathri.
• Represented Govt. of India in the Nallur Murgan temple festival (Sri Lanka) in September 2016.
• Been part of an awareness program initiated by Sanchala School of Bharathantyam, which was about the river Koovam.
• Learnt nattuvangam from my Guru and have performed nattuvangam on stage for chalangai poojais of my dance school.
