Children lack focus or to be more specific, they are hyper active and have short attention spans. So it's important to keep them engaged. I find the solution is short sprints of studies followed by 3-5 mins break between each session. This practiced over a prolonged period of time will help them get into a habit of learning. Next it's all about story telling, either you narrate things to them like you are narrating a story or listen to stories thatvthey narrate and find your way through in the process. It's always helpful to sit at a parallel height tobthem so they do not feel overwhelmed. Gamify the process of learning, as in keep it highly interactive, engaging and fun. And be aware of the fact of a 50 min session, you would be lucky to have a productive 20 min of learning. I focus on achieving small goals with Children as with them the sense of accomplishment is more important than trying to achieve a larger task. Everything will be fine.
