I started my teaching work in Chettinad Vidyashram, a reputed school in chennai. I joined for a teacher training course there in the year 1994. Both my children were studying at Chettinad Vidyashram and I used to drop them and pick them up from school. I came to know about the training which was happening in the prestigious institution. After the wonderful training at chettinad Vidyashram I joined the same school as a kindergarten teacher and handled different classes for the next eighteen years. I enjoyed working in CV; learnt a lot, had lot of friends; experienced a lot of good and bad things. With the motivation of the management and colleagues I contested for Mrs Chennai in the year 2002 and entered as one among the finalists. Which was another milestone in my life; which gave me lot of exposure to acting, singing and public speaking.
