Learning this artform since the year 2003, I have been privileged enough to be the disciple of eminent Bhatakala exponents such as Natya Vishradha Smt. Kanimozhi Menon, Natya Rathna Smt. Vasanthy Chellappa and Yuva Kala Bharathi Smt. Suma Mani. I have been trained in 2 different styles of Bharatanatyam such as Pandhanaloor and Vazhuvoor Bhani.

Completing my Bharatnatya Arangetram in the year 2011, I have had the opportunity to perform in prestigious stages, temples such as Thillai Nataraja Temple Chidambaram, Mylapore Kabaleeshwarar temple, TTD T Nagar, Ayyapan temple Mahalingapuram and various Sabhas.

I am also a Bharatanatyam instructor and I have established my own dance academy called Sujalayaa Academy. This is a dance school that works towards teaching and building the divine art of Bharatnatyam! My instructor led online live Bharatanatyam sessions have enabled people of varied age groups to learn and cherish this art form.

The South India Cultural & Social Academy awarded me with the titles ‘Aadal Kalai Arasi’ and ‘Natya Sudir’.
