I, Dr.A.Pooranalatha a doctorate in Tamil Literature, am currently working as a Professor in a
reputed college in Chennai and have been teaching graduate students for the past 12 years. I have published five books and 25 research articles in peer-reviewed journals. I use innovative teaching methods to teach efficient learning among the students. I have received numerous awards and certificates in recognition of my teaching methodology. I have in-depth knowledge of ancient, medieval and contemporary Tamil literature. I can efficiently communicate with the different age groups of learners through present-day information communication technology platforms (MS Teams, Google Meet, Zoom, etc). I have guided many graduate students in their research projects, adopting interdisciplinary approaches. I can show/mentor PhD research scholars in Tamil literature and related subjects. I can teach school and college students to improve their creativity in Tamil writing, speaking and effective presentation of the subject matter. I have a deep interest in teaching and can teach Tamil subjects for the basic to advanced levels of learners. I have been handling tuition classes for school and college students. I teach all levels of students, from primary, middle and higher secondary students to graduate, post-graduate and doctorate scholars and aspirants of competitive examinations.
