I have done my C1 (6th Level) German at Goethe Institute, Chennai. I have trained my College mates, friends and Colleagues till B1 (3rd Level). I have handled classes for German in Cornerstone Academy of Languages, Lire wire school and many other institutes for the level A1 to B2. I am also working as a pass time translator for Zeitreisen Reisedienst.

I have also trained Corporates for A1 to B1 Goethe certificate exam.

I love teaching Language, because I also get to learn more from my Students.

I am planning to take up German language classes to apply for jobs in Germany. I am a little confused due to the following factors: 1. How effective is online training? 2. I consulted many institutes .each of them offer different duration of course for same certification. I want to know how many hours of classes are required on an average to do a1 certification for a beginner.

80 hours of class will do, provided you work extra at your home. Classroom learning is the better option, since you will start talking among the candidates in german.
