Supoose two numbers are a and b. ........(1) And ...........(2) Put the value of equation (2) in equation (1) , , , (a+10) (a-18) =0, a= -10 is not possible because cannot be negative , so a= 18 and b= 12. Therefore the larger number is 18 and the smaller number is 12.
