Never Cease to Learn!

Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learning stays young.
The greatest thing in life is to keep your mind young.  - Henry Ford

Learning is beautiful, especially when done with the intent of gaining long-lasting knowledge and wisdom, to be able to put into productive use for self and the society, to succeed in the examination of life, and not merely to get through the academic examinations.

Learning is a continuous process that keeps happening, both consciously and subconsciously.
Learning helps us evolve as a person, to help others and the society at large, to look at things from other people's perspectives, appreciate diversity, and to not fall behind others in this highly competitive world.

Here are some tips to enhance your overall learning curve:

Technology:
Technological advancements have enabled us to interact with subject experts around the globe. Access to a wide range of enriching resources is just a few clicks away. Search for any topic you wish to gather information on, and you have it all. Several visually powerful tools can have an everlasting learning impact on our minds. They were never heard of, some years back. Reap the benefits of technology to the fullest.

Time:
Manage your time wisely and effectively. No excuses can be made in the name of time constraint. We certainly have time, or can surely take some time out for things we really want. Planning and prioritization of work in hand will help achieve this. So, identify what should be concluded first and what can be done later.

Mentor:
Find the right mentor who may either be a parent/ sibling/ relative/ friend/ teacher or any other trustable person. Half the battle is won when you find one! Someone with whom you can have healthy debates, who can be your critic, from whom you can learn and grow, a well-wisher, and with whom you can have conversations just about any topic under the sun.

Self-learning:
It is best to not just rely entirely on external teaching; this tends to limit your learning. Self-learn to broaden your learning horizon, identify your strengths, work on your flaws, and push your limits constantly.

Knowledge sharing:
Sharing knowledge is one of the powerful ways of self-development, as you tend to first teach yourself in order to teach others. This, in turn, makes you confident, helps you stay motivated, expands your contacts/connections, you become a sought-after person for problem-solving, you may even become a role model to many.

Say NO to comparison:
Develop an awareness of not comparing yourself with others. Some may seem well ahead in the race, while others may seem to have fallen behind. But in reality, we are all working on our own, unique time clocks. Don't get caught up in the comparison game. Each of us is born with varying strengths and setbacks. Count what you have and know your self-worth. It is critical to stay away from negativity around.

Passion:
Initiate and amplify your liking for all the subjects; this is going to take you miles ahead! Don't have an aversion to any subject, for you never know when the knowledge you possess in that subject would come in handy in life.

Get a break:
Amidst all the hustle-and-bustle, don't forget to unwind at regular intervals. Alter your learning routine to prevent boredom from creeping in, get some physical activity, get a good night's sleep, and don't forget to enjoy life too!
