Mundeshwari Temple: The most established Hindu sanctuary for Lord Shiva and Shakti worshiper’s, the “Mundeshwari Temple” is located on the Mundeshwari Hills in Kaimur District of Bihar. This sanctuary is considered built during 108 AD and it’s overseen by the Administrator of the Bihar Trust Board since 1915. Mundeshwari Temple is erected by stones with carved images of Yamuna, Dvarapalas, Ganga and several more.

Shore Temple: India’ s one of the oldest stone temples, Shore temple is devoted to the Lord Vishnu, Lord Shiva, and gate- guardian deity of Kailasa; Nandi. Shore temple is situated on the coast of Bay of Bengal in the district of Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu. It is constructed in the 8th century AD of Pallava Dynasty.

Dwarkadhish Temple: Known as the Jagat Mandir for Hindu’s, Dwarkadhish Temple is devoted to Lord Krishna and it is approximately 2,200 years old. Constructed with the sandstone, this temple was expanded in the 15th and 16th Century where legends often articulate that, this temple was built by the Lord Krishna’s grand-children.

Brihadisvara Temple: UNESCO World Heritage Sites, the Brihadisvara Temple is situated in the Thanjavur in Tamil Nadu. Erected during the Chola Dynasty, this Hindu temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and considered one of the largest temples in the India.

Lingaraja Temple: Considered as one of the oldest temples in Bhubaneswar, Lingaraja Temple is devoted to Harihara; the form of Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu. As per the facts, the Lingaraja temple was erected by Lalatendu Keshari of Somavamsi dynasty in 617-657 A.D where the temple follows the philosophy of the Kalinga Architecture. Today, this temple is maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India and Temple Trust Board of Odisha.

Sun Temple: The renowned temple in the world, Sun Temple is the UNESCO World Heritage Sites and the Seven Wonders of India today. As per the researched, this temple was built in 13th Century by the king Narasimhadeva 1 of Eastern Ganga Dynasty in Konark. This temple is erected in Kalinga architecture with Khondalite rocks where its structural designs including curved stone, walls, and pillars are just incredible.

Parsurameswar Temple: One of the Bhubaneswar oldest temples, Parsurameswar Temple was built in the Sailodbhava dynasty in between the 7th and 8th Century AD in Nagara Style. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the temple sculpture includes features of Sakta divinities as Parsvadevatas molded on walls.
