The charge on the capacitor is Q = CV = 900 × 1012 F × 100 V = 9 × 108 C The energy stored in the capacitor = (1/2) CV2 = (1/2) QV = (1/2) × 9 × 108 C × 100 V = 4.5 × 10% J
