If you have just begun teaching slokas and daily prayers to both children and adults. Generally I do not overwhelm them with several slokas at a time. I begin with the simplest ones and gradually teach the more complex ones. Also, explain them the meaning of each sloka / prayer so that they understand and value of what they are saying.
