Since childhood, I am interested in visual arts and historical research, which develop through frequent visits to local museums. I am fascinated by display techniques of museum objects and it conservation also arts administration both inside and outside the museums & galleries. I traveled to several countries and It was my privileged to work under several eminent artists, conservators, art historians and educationalists. I have a degree in fine arts from the Government College of Art, Kolkata then completed my Master and Research degree (AMA) in Cultural Heritage & Restoration from Italy and UK I am the first AMA holder from outside the UK in the field of museology .



Presently I am serving as a curator of Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Darjeeling My experience, deep love and attraction of art and culture, particularly Himalayan culture have influenced my work’ s as an artist. My work is also been influenced by impressionism. The contrast patches of color are an expression of my inner emotional feelings……..



Also I have a teaching experience in the field of drawing and paintings in different art Institution and Universities in India and abroad.
