As a music teacher with two years of teaching experience and nine years of practising, I am passionate about teaching the new generation about traditional music and making them aware of its importance. I hold a Diploma in Vocal Music from Prayag Sangeet Sameethi in Ahmedabad, which has equipped me with the necessary skills and knowledge to teach classical vocal Hindustani music. For the past five years, I have been teaching at Sriram Barathiya Kalakendra in New Delhi and providing home tuition to students keen on learning more about Indian classical music. I have participated in three competitions and have also had the opportunity to perform live at Sriram Barathiya Kalakendra.
My teaching methodology involves practical and theory-based lessons, each lasting for an hour. I am comfortable teaching online and offline, and I can also add videos to make the learning experience more engaging for my students. Through my years of teaching, I have understood the importance of patience and adaptability. Every student is unique and has their own learning pace, which is why I strive to personalise my teaching style to cater to the needs of each student.
My ultimate goal as a music teacher is to ensure that my students not only develop a love for traditional music but also gain the necessary skills and knowledge to pursue it further in the future. I strongly believe that music has the power to connect people and transcend language barriers, and I am dedicated to instilling this love for music in my students.
