Mithlesh Kumar

I have been teaching music for the past fifteen years. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Indian classical music and have received a grade four certification from Trinity for guitar. Music has always been my passion and I have pursued it with dedication and perseverance. Over the years, I have participated in numerous music programs at IIT Roorkee and have even had my band.
My journey as a music teacher began when I started teaching guitar to my friends and family. I soon realised that I had a natural talent for teaching and decided to pursue it as a career. Currently, I work as a freelance music teacher and provide home tuition to students. I offer classes in various musical instruments including guitar, tabla, drums, harmonium, Indian classical music, and Hindustani vocal music. My classes are available both offline and online, and I specialise in providing practical lessons tailored to my student's needs.
As a teacher, I believe in creating a supportive and encouraging environment for my students. Learning music can be challenging, but I strive to make the process fun and engaging. I use various teaching methods to ensure that my students can grasp the concepts and techniques of music. To supplement my teaching, I provide notes and homework to my students. Practice is key to mastering any musical instrument, and I encourage my students to practice regularly. I also offer video classes for those who prefer to learn at their own pace. I constantly look for ways to improve my teaching and add value to my student's learning experience.
