I am a India based Bharatanatyam Instructor/ dancer, and have completed my 7 years of Diploma in Bharatanatyam and pursued Vishadhra (Bachelors in Arts - Bharatnatyam) from affiliated institute Pracheen Kala Kendra, University of Chandigarh and including 8 years of continuous professional training. And now currently getting the further training and guidance from Upadhaya School of Dance, Bangalore. Still pursuing the the art form in a wider form.
I have been a freelance tutor for more than 4 years now. I emphasis more on personal or one to one training more than in a group. It allows one to learn and enjoy the art in his/her own space as well as pace. I make sure that my group classes are not crowded and admit maximum 5-6 students in one batch. This helps me to pay attention to each and every student online . In the overall pattern of teaching I try to Maintain equal balance between the theoretical and practical aspects of this dance form, as I believe that both are equally important if one wants to enjoy the art form to the fullest.
