It is good that you are thinking to move from your current designation, but it is essential to understand the concept of SAP Basis, Consultant roles and Responsibilities. Even there are other many modules Like FICO, MM, PP which you can think but if you have decided to move to Basis, then I believe its better you can discuss with SAP Basis consultant.
