I have been dancing for about 6-7 years now. Dance for me has been everything throughout this time. It has pulled me up when I ever felt low, it has pushed me to my limits. I feel that dance has an innate ability to connect unlike any other art form. This craft has been neglected and put in the background for a long time now and my dream is to create a revolution by shedding every bit that I have in me. Dancing makes me feel powerful, after my practice I feel satisfied even if I have to go to bed hungry sometimes I feel very full. Dancers take music, study the layers and assign movements that mean, that is meant to inspire and motivate. I am a self taught dancer and have no prior experience in learning from a professional. Two years after I started dancing I did quite a few reality shows just for the sake of it and went to the top 50s of shows like Dance India dance, Dance+ and NE lil champs. I am not proud of these neither am I this narcissistic ever. I want to create an atmosphere of support, hardwork and love for my students. And for me, my students are my teachers. We learn something new everyday and I learn if from every human being around me, especially my students.
