Shaharyar Zaidi

I started with public speaking at an early age through school debates and plays from Class 6th. At school level, I participated and won at 6 debates at inter zonal levels. I was also the part of the winning team at Montfesta 2010-11, where 8 top schools participated from the whole North India. In Montfesta, I acted in Nukkad Natak and Ad-mad Competition. After passing out, I mentored a group of students in public speaking and stage presence from Greenway Modern Schoool, Delhi and they participated in an event at FICCI auditorium, where all the top schools from New Delhi participated and these mentored students came second in drama category.
At college/university level, I participated in debates and got podium positions at Delhi University (Gargi College, Ambedkar College, Maharaja Agrasn College), Great Lakes Institute of Management and Jamia Millia Islamia, where debaters from all over India participated. I was also among the Top 100 students selected from 8000 plus students in D’Apprentice National, which was a business leadership event. I also ran a debating society in my university, through which debating events were organized and students were mentored and nurtured for public speaking and performances.
