An artist with a versatile and deliberate approach to her work. ​

She was born in the foothills of the Himalayas, India, and started her dance journey at the age of eight. At a very young age, she trained as an Indian classical dancer Kathak and Odissi, and also attended folk dance schools of northern India. ‘Although my foundation was very well developing, there was always a yearning for creating an unconfined movement’. Her desire for research and viewpoint led her to modern contemporary dance, and she began to practice under the guidance of various artists and masters. “I love the movement of a gentle wave in the sea and sometimes of a storm in the ocean.” Rashee learned to be an independent artist at an early stage of her profession. She worked very closely with the Embassy of India in Slovakia to bring new cultural projects she is also one of the founders and former Chief cultural officer of the Indian Chamber of culture in the Slovak Republic. In addition, she is a certified Holistic health & wellness coach and also shares delight in working with children. Rashee currently splits her time between Central Europe and Himachal Pradesh as a choreographer, performer, and dance teacher.
