There is no baked solution to what you need. You need to make it for yourself. Say you are developing a social media website and you want to implement a progress-bar which shows “65% complete” as profile completeness. You can divide your user related information into logical groups and assign “weight” to each group. e.g., General info (firstname, lastname, email) => Weight 25 Education (school, graduation, post-graducation) => Weight 25 Work (company1, company2, … ) => Weight 25 (you can say 25 if more than 1 row exists) Hobbies (hobby1, hobby2, …) => Weight 25 (you can say 10 if only 1 row exists) You need to make sure that total weight adds to 100 (or add to 200 or 300 but then adjust your percentage accordingly) Then when user logs in, calculate this value by querying each section and calculate the percentage. Store this percent value in a cookie (to prevent repeat querying) When user modifies their profile data, update this cookie value by re-calculating the profile complete percent. read less
