.net is a frameworkk..., you can use multiple programming languages to create a .net application...., .net is not a coding language??; sqlserver is dbms that manages database. we connect .net application to sqlserver for storing data in that , which we submit from dotnet app ????

Depends on requirement like if app is social purpose then client scripts are fine and if app is related to some financial or banking domain then .net is good.. Microsoft suggested .net with sql is the best way of database handling

U can host an application in ASP.NET using HTTP and File System, what will be the difference? why HTTP requires? is it mandatory to use IIS for latest ASP.NET applications too?
U can run web app without iss in local. But if you want to access your application out of your system. Require IIS.
