VCR stands for Vapour Compression Refrigeration System. It is a refrigeration system in which cooling is obtained with the help of refrigerant. It consist of four major components such as Compressor, Condenser, Expansion Valve and Evaporator. In Compressor vapour refrigerant is compressed and passed through condenser where high temperature refrigerant gives up heat to surrounding air and get condensed. As the condensed liquid is at higher pressure hence it is passed through capillary tube (expansion valve) where its pressure is reduced and thus the temperature and then it is supplied through evaporator which is cooling coil.
The term “refrigeration” is used to denote maintenance of a system or body at a temperature lower than that of its surroundings. The system maintained at the lower temperature is known as refrigerated...
A saturated steam table is an indispensable tool for any engineer working with steam. It's typically used to determine saturated steam temperature from steam pressure, or the opposite: pressure from saturated...
(i) Facing: This operation is almost essential for all works. In this operation, as shown in fig., the work piece is held in the chuck and the facing tool is fed from the center of the work piece towards...
DEFECTS IN WELDING (CAUSES) Improper welding parameter and wrong welding procedure introduce the welding defects in welded Joints. A defective welding Joint may fall under service condition and can...
