What should I do when my 4 year old child does not listen to me when I request even for brushing his teeth, taking bath, watching TV from distance etc daily habits he tests my patience and if i become angry he backfires and becomes stubborn.

Please don't expect discipline in a 4 year old child and pls don't insist so much on obedience. Instead create an atmosphere of fun/play in which the child deliberately makes the desired action.

Keep trying what you are doing but keeping in mind that your are not being rude to him.Spanking and being rude can amplify the situation, so have patience and be positive about your approach.Keep your anger in control or else your are teaching the same behaviour to your child also, may be you don't have intention to do so. Parveen to make your child what you want, you need to be the same infront of him.If you are doing all good things at home then don't worry, keep doing that, one day your child will learn for sure. read less
