Founded by Mr. Frank Anthony on Dec. 22nd, 1967, the school believes in treating each student as an individual entity who needs to be nurtured and moulded with care, to be groomed to become responsible citizens. The Frank Anthony Public School, Bangalore, which opened on the 9th of January, 1967 is designed to the latest educational standards and has four floors. The building houses large and excellently equipped laboratory cum lecture rooms for Physics, Chemistry and Biology, a computer laboratory, a library with a special section for audio-visual teaching aids and spacious class rooms.

Extra-curricular Activities:
* The school is completely equipped for outdoor activities such as Physical Training and Sports. The School grounds have a basketball court, a football field, a volleyball court as well as a well maintained cricket pitch. There are regular games periods in the students time tables to ensure all-round development of the child.
* Other activites include Dramatics, Debating, Elocution, Declamation as well as Quizzing. Students have the opportunity to compete in inter-house or inter-school events.
* In addition to these activities, FAPS also provides National Cadet Corps (Army Wing) Training for seniors. Juniors can enter the Scouts & Guides, Cubs or Bulbuls.
Infrastructure:
The school provides students with fully equipped laboratories for Physics, Computers, Chemistry as well as Biology. Students are completely trained to handle lab equipment as per their curriculum.

Very good school affiliated to ICSE board and one of the few old schools in Bangalore. Staff is good and admission process is fair.

It is one of the best and very old school in B'lore. So I am waitting for my child to get an admission in this school to come up with a good nurtured individual.

I want to admitt my son in grade 1, any idea when the admissions will start??
When i called a month before they said after 21 of May - is this the right date?

Yeah we are all customers only for them to show pay slip originals and not parents. ha ha ha ha ha ha ha........................ good statement, indeed !
Good or bad is not subjective, always in everything. FAPS is in no way good since their interview process is so absurd.
We parents need not sit and do Phd to find a good school as each one of us have already found a good school already. It is time for you to sit and do a Phd to compare the rest of all good schools in bangalore and how they go about interviewing.
Even the basic infrastructure of FAPS is not sooo good compared to the fee that they collect.
It is some basic common sense that with which v parents come n post our comments here, abt schools which are not worth enof for the hype that is created abt them.
Our point is that , such schools need not b branded or hyped or boasted so much about when they r not worth enof. Thatz the point and v parents r not fools to just go with watever happens. Better to discuss points which are absurd abt these schools and let everyone know wat these schools r actually upto and make other parents realize that everything is business now and especially abt this school.

I think this is the story of experience going sour......there is nothing such as good or bad in this world. Good or bad school is subjective and its ones own opinion and perception, for one FAPS would be an exceptionally Good School for another it may be a bad experience, so FAPS wouldn't try to satisfy its customers in return it may try to remove dissatisfaction......so the the world is big enough to accommodate more children into this world, so there is no school that can meet all ur requirement. So chill ........relax and find a school that matches your child's requirement. You may have to do a Phd to find a school that best matches your temperament and your child's career.

:-) even we didnt get selected after the interview.
I dont feel bad at all coz i think in no way FAPS is one of those best schools as hyped by all.
First of all i dont understand the interview process
(I) parents being interviewed and that too 3 standards questions for all parents.
(II) child not even being interviewed or asked to b taken to be seen even :-).
(III) asking for originals of pay slip ( wat would they do if both the parents loose job after admitting their kid in FABPS )
