Securities and insecurities definitely form part of a non native language teacher's profession, but that is mostly when they start out to teach. After a while you tend to understand the needs of students and the curriculum they follow. For me, I felt confident when I stepped into the role of a teacher every day, one because I love teaching and second because preparation before the class has been a must for me. As for insecurities, to be prompt with vocabulary is a challenge and the teachers have to keep up with it by reading more themselves. Because it's not their native language some words tend to be afloat. Other than that, to keep students astray from translating from their native language to French and only understanding contexts is what I focus on, the most. read less
