Overview

I have been playing guitar for 5 years and have taught beginner guitar students before taking individual classes. My pattern of guitar teaching might be slightly different from others as I don't emphasise on learning songs first as I believe a lot of time of the students is wasted in just copying the tabs and playing. This will not teach them how to make their own music. My emphasise is more on learning about the instrument first, understanding how notes are arranged on a fretboard in your guitar. Being able to understand sheet music so that you are able to communicate with professionals and understand sheet music, learn different scales. If you are able to understand the theory involved you would be able to make your own compositions faster than those who don't.

If you're consistent you would be able to learn basic chords and strum along and sing within 2 months. You have to be patient in it. People generally get frustrated and give up when they can't play it properly. Whatever you learn to play you have to make the notes sound clear first. Play it really slow... ...more

That particular model has a laminated spruce top. Even though it has a fishman preamp you will never be satisfied with the sound of a pickup. Nothing can beat the sound of a guitar acoustically recorded through a good quality mic. Get an epiphone aj200 it's the cheapest branded guitar with a solid spruce... ...more
That particular model has a laminated spruce top. Even though it has a fishman preamp you will never be satisfied with the sound of a pickup. Nothing can beat the sound of a guitar acoustically recorded through a good quality mic. Get an epiphone aj200 it's the cheapest branded guitar with a solid spruce top (solid top guitars sound better compared to the laminated top models). It also has an advanced jumbo shape so you get a fuller sound and is way too much worth for it's price. It's 13-14k and it sounds amazing for it's price. Don't fall for the pickup. An acoustic guitar is always about the wood material used in the guitar first.
