I am working in small company as graphic designer. i want to move to MNC so is there any need to have a degree of design? m not an arts background or not even done any diploma , degree in design. please suggest me what shouud i do? should i do any course in design

U must learn Web/UI/UX Design for the betterment of career, high demand in MNCs'.

You must appear for MH-AAC-CET of JJ school of Art. And you will get choice of total 6-7 streams. If any training help require then contact me. I do take classes specially for this. Don't take this exam granted take quick action to approach for the same. There are Diploma course after 10th too.

Sid, I'm a 10th dropout, without any degree I worked with 8 companies. You can check out my portfolio here. Trust me you don't required any design background to be a designer. It's just you to have that "go to kill " attitude.

This will give more credibility to your resume and get you hired faster at a better package. Alternately, try free-lancing for Start-Ups when you are not working, or join a Start-Up as they offer great career growth and better packages. Lots of start-ups are hiring graphic designers for logo designing, package design, website design, social media poster design etc. The scope is huge and the money is great. Hope this helps. read less

As per the first question the answer is 'There is no need of having a 'degree of design' but you should have a degree from any field because it will help you in your further growth like your promotion or salary increment.' Some companies have the demand of having degree but its not mandatory that the degree should be in design only, also the important thing is that you should be having skills, experience, go for it attitude and positive thinking which will help to boost your confidence so that you can achieve your goals. As in fact you are actually working in the field where one should be creative and ready to take challenges to deliver the work in time.
