I have been playing the piano for over 10 years and teaching for about 7.
My qualifications include having completed the LTCL and ATCL diplomas from the Trinity College, London with high distinctions in both of them. These are diplomas that come after the Grade 8 and are at par with an Undergraduate degree from a music conservatory.

I have numerous solo concerts to my credit in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Trivandrum, among other places, under the aegis of the Delhi school of music, National Centre for Performing Arts in Mumbai and the Calcutta school of music among many others.

Let him listen to music for now. The more the better. Don't restrict what kind of music he listens to. Let him listen everything from classical and carnatic to modern music and jazz. You could start lessons maybe when he is 4 or 5
