I am a Kathak Dancer. I am learning Kathak continuously for 15 years. I am certified in Kathak dance and Rabindranritya. I have completed Diploma in kathak with 90% marks from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad and completed Diploma and Teacher's training in Rabindranritya from Bangiya Sangeet Kala Kendra, Kolkata. I have performed at many places in Howrah as well as Kolkata, like-
1. University Institute Hall, conducted by Govt. of West Bengal
2. Lipika auditorium, Vishwa Bharati University, Shantiniketan
3. TATA THEATER, Nariman Point, NCPA, MUMBAI.
I achieved 1st position in many dance competitions like -
1. Bethune College
2. CIEM
3. RCCIIT etc.
I also did workshop from Pt. Krishan Mohan Maharj ji, son of Pt. BIRJU MAHARAJ ji.
I also have facilities to conduct examinations of Kathak and Rabindranritya from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad and Bangiya Sangeet Kala Kendra, Kolkata respectively.
I also did judgement at Howrah Jela Sanskritic Protiyogita.

At the age of 37, can I learn kathak? 

Yes..why not?? Age doesn't matter if you have passion. I am a kathak dancer and choreographer. I teach people like you who are learning it as their hobby without any pressure.
