Kathak is one of them and the oldest form of classical dance, Which is originated from North India(Banaras,Lucknow,Uttar Pradesh).Kathak derived from Sanskrit word katha which means story and the kathakar which means one who tell the story or do with the stories. In kathak we as a performer dance in various stories.
