I am a FIDE International-rated chess player with an ELO rating of 1689, and I hail from Uttar Pradesh, India. With a passion for chess that has spanned many years, I have represented my state and various institutions at both junior and senior levels, demonstrating my expertise and dedication to the game. Alongside my achievements in chess, I am pursuing a Master's degree in Philosophy from the University of Hyderabad, adding an academic dimension to my profile.
My journey in chess began with notable accomplishments, such as representing Uttar Pradesh in the Under 25 Youth National Championship in Patna and Delhi in the Amateur National Chess Championship. During my school years, I excelled as the Best Ghaziabad player in the All India Rating tournament and led my school team to victory in the CBSE East Zonal Chess Competition many times, subsequently representing at the CBSE National level.
Throughout my academic pursuits, I remained actively involved in chess, securing the 3rd position at the BITS Open Sports Meet and captaining the chess team at Zakir Husain Delhi College, University of Delhi, for two consecutive years. My commitment to the sport extended beyond playing, as I also served as an arbiter in various state and zonal competitions. With a career spanning nine years, I have leveraged my expertise to coach numerous students across Delhi NCR, both through established academies and private classes. Over the past two years, I have adapted to the digital landscape, providing online training to aspiring chess enthusiasts. Furthermore, I have successfully built and trained college women's teams from scratch, preparing them for inter-university competitions. My academic journey culminated in obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Commerce (Honors) from Zakir Husain Delhi College, University of Delhi, in 2019. Subsequently, I pursued my passion for philosophy, earning a Master's degree from the esteemed University of Hyderabad. In addition to chess and academics, my interests include listening to music, teaching, and engaging in outdoor activities. I am fluent in both English and Hindi, fostering effective communication with diverse audiences. With a blend of professional expertise in chess, academic achievements, and a commitment to continuous learning, I bring a unique blend of skills and experiences to any endeavor I undertake.
