The quick ratio or acid test ratio is a liquidity ratio that measures the ability of a company to pay its current liabilities when they come due with only quick assets. Quick assets are current assets that can be converted to cash within 90 days or in the short-term.

Cash, cash equivalents, short-term investments or marketable securities, and current accounts receivable are considered quick assets.

Those current assets that are not readily convertible into cash are excluded from the calculation. Therefore, Stock expenses deferred tax credits are excluded since conversion of such assets into cash may take considerable time.

1. Comparative Financial Statement Analysis (Horizontal Analysis): As the name suggests, comparative analysis provides a year-on-year review of the various financial statements. For example, in the Income Statement, the Sales figure may be compared over a period of consecutive years to understand how the sales figures have grown (or declined) over the year. It should be noted that horizontal analysis compares the internal performance of the company.

2. Basic size Financial Statement Analysis (Vertical Analysis): Vertical investigation is pertinent for inner execution survey and for correlation with companions and seat checking. In vertical examination every one of the things in a specific proclamation are spoken to as a level of a specific thing. For instance, Operating Expenses, Depreciation, Amortization, Profit before assess, Tax, Profit after duty, and so on might be spoken to as a level of Sales in the Income Statement. Normal standard base can undoubtedly uncover the inward put forth up of monetary expressions and any proportionate increment and diminishing of the same.

Below are the very critical items that humans rely on crude oil for
i. Energy
ii. Fuel
iii. Food (Fertilizers get some raw materials from oil)
iv. Insulation items
v. Clothing
vi. Plastic

Now imagine your life without any of this product and see the end result - Devastation. No locomotion. Humans will not be able to travel from point A to point B efficiently. Means of transport that are available without oil are extremely slow and we would head to a rock age again.
