Is it necessary to write units along with the measured value?

Units are absolutely important even when you are solving a numerical. While plug in the values in a formula make sure u write their units also. This is really helpful. Practicing this will save you from making any mistakes.

What is mole

mole is a measurement unit...like kg is for weight, litre is for volume. Mole is a unit for amount of substance. Like one dozen means 12 in number, one mole means 6.022 x 10 23(superscript). one mole of atom contains 6.022 x 10 23(superscript) number of atoms...likewise one mole of molecule, ion etc... ...more

One mole of atom, molecule or ion are essentially there atomic weight or molecular weight. eg, one mole of oxygen atom is 16 grams and one mole of H2O is 18 grams..both contains 6.022 x 10 23(superscript) number of atoms and molecules subsequently.
