Mathematics

"Mr. Vivek Dadu is a good maths teacher. Although I got to interact with him only for two months, he's made a strong impression in my head! Even today I think of him whenever I encounter the famous Euler identity e^(i*pi) + 1 = 0.... He was the first one to introduce me to that remarkable formula! "

CAT Coaching

"In order to succeed in any sphere of life, what matters the most is the foundation. Only if your foundation is strong and your basics are clear you succeed in life. And this is exactly what Mr. Vivek Dadu starts with, making your foundations and basics strong. This is precisely why any quantĀ  or DI-LR question (from any topic) doesn't scare me any more.Ā  Mr. Dadu's long experience and thereby his ability to explain even the most difficult topics/questions seamlessly amazes me. Throughout the span of my coaching, he was not just a teacher but also a motivator, constantly providing me immense amount of encouragement. The only thing you require to be his student is dedication and trust in his abilities. It's only fair to give your 100% to him if he is giving his more than 100% to you. If you are a CAT aspirant, trust me when I say that he is the person you would want to be mentored by for Quant and DI-LR. It is my guarantee that with his knowledge and dedication you'll fair through with flying colours. "

Basic Programming concepts

"The way of explaining the problem and the step wise solution is amazing and it lets you do the programming on your own and evaluate where and what is missing or wrong and he corrects each and every step by himself and tells you how to improve the mistake or how to think about the solution after seeing any problem. "

CAT Coaching

"Individual attention given to each and everyone with a strictness that motivates you to complete the task on time and the easiness with which he teaches enables you to connect with him and ask doubts irrespective of the level of your doubt. The field knowledge and the way of teaching is amazing and the level of comfort is very high in his teaching. "

Literally speaking potential means locked capacity, in scientific terms potential could refer to electric potential or potential energy. Refer to wikipedia links http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electric_potential and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Potential_energy for more details

The relation between the focus of the mirror and distance of the object and its image from the mirror is known as the mirror formula, for a concave and convex mirror it is expressed as 1/u + 1/v= 1/f

This question annoys me as a faculty. Because this is a really bad way to think and makes the parents and children vulnerable to being exploited easily by teachers and coaching institutes, the truth is that if your child is really interested in science subjects then you need to make sure that he is in company of a teacher who helps him explore the subject independently. If that happens dont worry about IIT JEE till class 10th, 2 years i.e. class 11th and 12th will be more than enough to prepare for such a child. On the other hand if your child is not interested in science subjects at all then in any case their is no use pitting him for IIT JEE preparation. In case you feel that he has the potential and just needs a right environment to develop interest then may be its a good idea to introduce him to IIT JEE foundation course in class 7th itself as sometimes a healthy competition triggers a zeal for studying in the students but be careful and watch out whether its actually having a positive effect on student.
