IdentityDr. Yogi Ram Bolisetty M.S., M.N.A.M.S did his undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in surgery from Guntur medical college, Guntur, India. He is practising at Sri Rama Hospital, Jaggayyapet from 1983 and was an executive council member of NTR university of health sciences, Vijayawada.
Because of his interest in teaching surgery to medical students, he has conducted lectures on surgery to the students of M.B., B.S at Global hospital, Hyderabad, India since 2002 to 2012 and later at Dr. Yogi Ram’s Medical Education Centre, Hyderabad, India.
His first book on surgery, “The Art of Surgery” was published in 1999 and his second book, “Lectures on Surgery” was published in 2010 which was the compilation of his lectures delivered at Global hospital, Hyderabad and at Dr. Yogi Ram’s Medical Education Centre, Hyderabad.
He is also the author of “Synopsis of Surgery” published by Thieme Publications in 2017 which is developed from the notes of the lectures on surgery delivered by Dr Yogi Ram at Global Medical Education Center and at Dr Yogi Ram’s Medical Education Centre, Hyderabad, Telangana, India from 2002 onwards. This book pays special attention to inquisitiveness of the student community. Demonstrating his rich experience in this field and education, Dr Yogi Ram has himself drawn all illustrations for this book.
Dr Yogi Ram also conducts workshops on basic surgical skills for Johnson & Johnson’s and Ethicon Institute of Surgical Education, India. He also Conducts interactive case discussion in face book and presents lectures and operation videos in youtube. Dr. Yogi Ram also has presented numerous papers and lectures in various state and national conferences.
